India 2020 DHS includes the following Caste categorizations:
• Scheduled caste (SC)
• Scheduled tribe (ST)
• Other backward class (OBC)
• Other class (none of the above)
• Do not know or not applicable (dk)

And the following Religions:
• Hindu
• Muslim
• Buddhist/Neo-Buddhist
• Other religion: Christian, Sikh, Jain, Jewish, Parsi/Zoroastrian, No religion or Other

Note: The group Other includes religions, ethnicities or languages that represent less than 5% of the population for the purpose of this analysis.
