Labour force participation is not an SDG indicator per se but remains a key labour market indicator underpinning several SDG indicators in SDG 8. It measures the proportion of the working-age population aged 15 and above who are either employed or unemployed. abour Force Surveys are better suited to measure key labour market indicators. The result presented here should be interpreted with caution.

The following data are considered for this analysis:
• Individuals: All working-age adult population (15+).
The standard LNOB analysis for Labour Force Participation includes the following circumstances:
• Expenditure per capita of the household: top 60 or bottom 40% (of the distribution)
• Education: none, primary, secondary or post-secondary
• Residence: urban, rural or estate
• Sex: female or male
• Age group: 15-24, 25-64 or 65+
• Number of children under 5: 0, 1, 2 or 3+.
