Chronic illness and disability measures the proportion of adult population (18+) who either have a chronic illness and/or at least one severe functional difficulty. It is not an SDG indicator.

The following data are considered for this analysis:
• Individuals: All individuals aged 18 and above.

The standard LNOB analysis for Chronic Illness and Disability includes the following circumstances:
• Expenditure per capita of the household: top 60 or bottom 40% (of the distribution)
• Education: none, primary, secondary or post-secondary
• Residence: urban, rural or estate
• Sex: female or male
• Age group: 18-24, 25-64 or 65+
