Internet usage broadly follows the definition of SDG indicator 17.8.1 Proportion of individuals using the internet.

Data Source: MICS (Sindh MICS 2014, MICS5)
The following data are considered for this analysis:
• Individuals: Women ages 15 - 24 (WM - Individual Women's Survey)
• Use of the internet: in the past 12 months

The standard LNOB analysis for Internet usage includes the following circumstances:
• Wealth of the household: top 60 or bottom 40 (of the wealth distribution)
• Residence: urban or rural
• Education level of the woman: lower (primary or less), secondary or higher

Note: MICS5 asked the internet questions of women ages 15-24 only, as in the report (Key Findings Report, use of ICT indicators; MICS indicator 10.3). MICS5 in Pakistan has no men's questionnaire, so this indicator covers women only. MICS6 surveys cover women and men ages 15-49 in the past 3 months, so values are not comparable.
