The following data is considered for this analysis :
• Children under age 5 from Child Recode (CH).
• Birth registration: Child under age 5 has a birth certificate that is seen by enumerators, or is verbally confirmed by parents.

Literacy measures the proportion of individuals aged 15-49 who attended schooling higher than the secondary level or who can read a whole sentence or part of a sentence about everyday life. It broadly follows the definition of SDG indicator 4.6.1 Proportion of population in a given age group achieving at least a fixed level of proficiency in functional literacy and numeracy skills.
