Tertiary education (attended, 25-35 yrs) measures the proportion of 25-35 year olds who have attended higher education. It broadly corresponds to SDG indicator 4.3.1 Participation rate of youth and adults in formal and non-formal education and training in the previous 12 months.

• Completed secondary, where secondary refers to completed 3 or 4 years at the secondary school depending on the years of schooling (prior to year 2012 or later).

Secondary education (completed, 20-35 yrs) measures the proportion of 20-35 year olds who have completed upper secondary education. It broadly follows the definition of SDG indicator 4.1.2 Completion rate (upper secondary education).
