Skilled birth attendance broadly follows the definition of SDG indicator 3.1.2 Proportion of births attended by skilled health personnel. However, it refers to the proportion of women (rather than births) who have given birth in the past 5 years with the attendance of skilled health personnel.

Note: DHS final report considers the last 2 years, however the LNOB indicator is calculated using the last 5 years to allow comparability with previous surveys.
