The analysis "including ethnicity", is formulated with additional circumstances added to the standard model.
Sri Lanka BRIGHT 2024-2025 includes the following Ethnicities:
• Sinhala
• Tamil
• Sri Lankan Tamil
• Indian Tamil
• Sri Lankan Moors/Muslim
• Burgher
• Malay
• Other

Note: The group Minor includes all ethnicities listed above except for the first one, Sinhala, which represents the major ethnicity group in the sample.

The BRIGHT 2024-25 extended model adds ethnicity and disability to the standard analysis. For household-level results, Education and Sex refer to the household head; for individual-level results, they refer to the respondent. Residence uses Urban, Rural and Estate. Literacy age groups are 5-14, 15-34 and 35+; working-age groups are 0-14, 15-24, 25-64 and 65+. Number of children under five is grouped as 0, 1, 2 and 3+.
