Violence against women justified measures the proportion of women who believe a husband is justified in beating his wife (for certain reasons).

The following data are considered for this analysis:
• Women ages 15 - 49 (IR-Individual Recode for women)
• The reasons provided as possible justifications of violence against women are: 1) If she goes out without telling him; 2) If she neglects the children; 3) If she argues with him; 4) If she refuses sex with him; 5) If she burns the food.

The standard LNOB analysis for Violence against women justified indicator includes the following circumstances:
• Wealth of the household: top 60 or bottom 40 (of the wealth distribution)
• Residence: urban or rural
• Education level of the woman: lower (primary or less), secondary or higher
• Number of children under 5: none (<0.5), 1 or more (>0.5), 2 or more (>1.5), 3 or more (>2.5), fewer than 2 (<1.5), fewer than 3 (<2.5)
• Age group: 15-24, 25-34, 35-49
