Internet usage broadly follows the definition of SDG indicator 17.8.1 Proportion of individuals using the internet.

Data Source: MICS
The following data are considered for this analysis:
• Individuals: women and men ages 15 - 49 (WM-Individual Women's Survey and MN-Individual Men's Survey)
• Use of the internet: in the past 3 months.

The standard LNOB analysis for Internet usage includes the following circumstances:
• Wealth of the household: top 60 or bottom 40 (of the wealth distribution)
• Residence: urban or rural
• Education level: lower (primary or less), secondary or higher
• Sex: female or male
• Age group: 15-24, 25-34, 35-49

Note: Starting from MICS 7, relative weights for women/men combined sample are used instead of women's/men's sample weight.
