ICT skills broadly measures SDG indicator 4.4.1 Percentage of women and men who have carried out at least one of 9 specific computer related activities during the last 3 months.
Data Source: MICS
The following data is considered for this analysis:
• Individuals: Women and men ages 15-49 (WM- Individual Women’s Survey and MN- Individual Men’s Survey)
The standard LNOB analysis for ICT skills include the following circumstances:
• Wealth of the household: top 60 or bottom 40 per cent of the household wealth distribution
• Residence: urban or rural
• Education: lower (primary or less), secondary or higher
• Sex: female or male
• Age: 15-24, 25-34 or 35-49
Analysis including disability: interviewed women and men aged 18-49, as applicable to this indicator, with their own survey weights. These Pakistan MICS6 surveys provide a binary functional-difficulty variable (no difficulty / has difficulty), rather than the six item-level answers. Adults with no disability answer are excluded. Disability prevalence is below the 5% minimum group in these surveys, so a tree may not split by disability. Results remain published with the existing minimum group rule.
