Tertiary education (attended, 25-35 yrs) measures the proportion of 25-35 year olds who have attended higher education. It broadly corresponds to SDG indicator 4.3.1 Participation rate of youth and adults in formal and non-formal education and training in the previous 12 months.
Data Source: MICS (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MICS 2016-17, MICS5)
The following data are considered for this analysis:
• Individuals: women and men ages 25 - 35 (HL - Household Members)
• Higher education refers to education above matric (class 11 or higher, including intermediate)
The standard LNOB analysis for Tertiary education (attended, 25-35 yrs) includes the following circumstances:
• Wealth of the household: top 60 or bottom 40 (of the wealth distribution)
• Residence: urban or rural
• Sex: female or male
MICS5 has no functioning (disability) module, so this indicator has no analysis including disability.
